Pedro Martinez To Hand Out Free Ice Cream

If you’re not swept up in World Cup fever or are just looking for a break during Thursday’s USA vs. Germany match, head over to the Prudential Center to receive a free Good Humor frozen treat from Pedro Martinez. For the second summer in a row, the Red Sox legend will be manning a Good Humor ice cream truck as part of its Summer of Joy campaign. From noon to 2 p.m. on June 26, the truck will be parked at the Boylston Street Plaza outside The Shops at Prudential Center with Martinez also available for photos. Additionally, those who can make it will be among the first to see the Good Humor Joy Fleet, a set of colorful Good Humor cars that will travel across the city throughout the summer, offering free King Cones and Strawberry Shortcake bars to local residents.
