Beer Summit Harvest Fest Returns to Boston
This November, Boston’s beer cornucopia (just go with it) will be overflowing with some of the finest craft brews the world has to offer. Winner of our award for “Best Booze Festival,” Beer Summit has been delighting beer geeks since 1999, and this year’s Harvest Fest celebration marks their 49th event in the city.
“This fall’s Harvest Fest will feature one of our most exciting brewery lineups yet,” says Beer Summit co-owner Mike Munnelly, via a press release. “With our fall event, we’re able to showcase some great seasonal autumn brews as well as preview some of the coming winter offerings from New England and beyond.” According to Munnelly, fest attendees should expect to be able to sample upwards of 200 different beers.
Although they bring in beers from all over the world, Beer Summit maintains a strong local focus. In fact, several of the roughly three dozen currently confirmed breweries (“We’re expecting to hit 60,” event organizers say) recently received top honors from Boston magazine. Check out the roster below. [List updated on September 22.]
