Wahlburgers Will Open in Fenway on Friday
The burger joint owned by Mark, Donnie, and Paul Wahlberg is finally opening a Boston location, scheduled to start serving its signature “Wahlfaves” to the public on Friday, October 2.
The latest Wahlburgers outpost is located at 132 Brookline Ave., next door to Yard House and three blocks away from Fenway Park. It will be the third Wahlburgers to open in Massachusetts, joining the chain’s flagship location in Hingham and another outpost in Lynnfield. A fourth Massachusetts location is scheduled to open later this year at Logan Airport, inside Terminal C.
Like at other locations, the interior of the 4,200-square-foot Wahlburgers in Fenway will boast photographs and other mementos from the brothers’ childhood in Dorchester. It will also feature an outdoor patio and a full bar, serving “Fenway Fizz,” a sparkling specialty cocktail available only at the Fenway location.
An invite-only grand opening bash will take place on October 1, but people can attend virtually by signing up for a VIP live stream on the restaurant’s website, which will also offer a chance to win an exclusive swag bag. Additionally, Wahlburgers has been promoting a raffle, which closed last Friday, for an Indian Scout motorcycle that will be presented to the winner at the grand opening by Mark himself.
Last week, Mark served burgers from a Wahlburgers food truck in Philly, where another location is expected to open in the future, before hanging out with Pope Francis and apologizing for Ted 2.
