A sure sign that summer’s on the way: Tickets are now on sale for the Nantucket Wine Festival.
Now in its 20th year, the festival has grown into one of the most anticipated food-and-wine festivals in the country, with hundreds of wine and culinary professionals making the trip May 18-22. The lineup of chefs reads like a who’s who of the Boston restaurant scene—Craigie on Main, Sweet Cheeks, Tiger Mama, Harvest, SRV, and dozens more—plus visitors from New England, California, and beyond. Accompanying the cuisine? Fifty winemakers, 150 wineries, and the expert guidance of 25 sommeliers.
Spread throughout five days, there are 50 events on the docket so far, from wine tastings and pairings, to smorgasbords and cooking demonstrations, seminars, galas parties, cookouts, and more. Elsewhere on the island, take advantage of the influx of discerning palates with wine dinners, lunches, and special events hosted by Nantucket’s venerable restaurants.
Each event is individually ticketed, and they’re selling out quickly. View the full lineup here. Don’t miss this unofficial kickoff to summer festival season.
