The Quincy area is quickly becoming a dining go-to, with new arrivals like KKatie’s Burger Bar and a second outpost of Pho Pasteur. Now, the growing Fuji empire is joining the party: restaurant group founders Peter Tse and Jimmy Liang have officially opened a new location in Quincy, Eater Boston reports.

If you’ve frequented the Japanese restaurant’s other nine outposts, including Assembly Row and at Ink Block (a.k.a Kelly Olynyk’s favorite sushi spot), you’ll be right at home here: the 5,000-square-foot space has the same Japanese fusion menu of fried rice plates, sushi, and noodle bowls. The restaurant seats 128—the chain’s largest dining space to date—with 12 of those spots in a reservation-only private kitchen.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate the opening of Fuji at West of Chestnut and excited to be one of the anchor lifestyle features in the heart of the hottest development in Quincy,” Liang wrote in a press release.

It’s not the group’s first foray into the suburb. Liang, a Quincy native, and Tse initially launched the Fuji brand just up the road, but the older Quincy location closed in the wake of this opening, Eater reported. The new restaurant is at the burgeoning West of Chestnut complex, a multi-level residential and commercial development that also houses KKatie’s and a few dozen apartment units.

Fuji in Quincy is open daily from 11 a.m.-1 a.m.
