Roxy’s Lynnfield Is Now Open With New Sandwiches, Hot Dogs, and More
Boston-area lovers of grilled cheese and games have been anxiously awaiting the Cambridge outpost of Roxy’s, attached to a bar arcade by the Area Four team, and they’ll have to wait just a bit longer. But in the meantime, get your Green Muenster fix—and a lot more—on the North Shore. Roxy’s Lynnfield is now open for lunch and dinner daily.
Roxy’s Lynnfield debuted with a few new menu items, which will eventually roll out to all locations, the company announced in a newsletter this morning. Those include a chicken sandwich, the Double Fried, inspired by Roxy’s 2015 pop-ups with fried chicken master J. Kenji López-Alt, as Eater Boston has reported, and a mushroom-and-lentil Lucy, a vegetarian version of a Juicy Lucy stuffed with melting muenster. The vegetarian patty can be substituted for any burger, too, and there are more new sandwiches, like hot honey bacon, and caprese.
Roxy’s Lynnfield is the first location to offer loaded fries and tots, a soon-to-be permanent menu addition across the board that will be welcome for many a longtime Roxy’s fan. Other new menu categories include loaded hot dogs (smoked gouda cheese sauce, crispy onions, and more), a couple salads, and soft serve and milkshakes at some new locations, including Central Square.
Stay tuned for an opening date for Roxy’s A4Cade, coming later this month.
