Barbara Lynch Writing a Memoir

James Beard Award winning chef Barbara Lynch is currently at work on a memoir to be released in the fall of 2016. Published by Atria Books, Lynch’s book will chronicle her journey from the projects of South Boston to her current stature as one of the country’s leading chefs, restaurateurs, and entrepreneurs. The much-publicized myth of Barbara Lynch—a star chef without any formal training or even a high school degree—will finally delve into her humble origins and her rise through the culinary ranks.

 “This is certainly my most personal project to date and after years of people telling me I should write a book, that’s exactly what I’m doing,” says Lynch via a press release. “I hope readers will find the story honest and inspiring.”
