Bagelsaurus Now Serving Pizza Bagels

It seems Katz Bagel Bakery has a little local competition. Starting today, baker Mary Ting Hyatt began offering pepperoni and plain cheese pizza bagels at her wildly popular Cambridge bakery. Since opening her first solo brick and mortar (Bagelsaurus was formerly a pop-up concept at Cutty’s in Brookline) in Porter Square, lines for Hyatt’s crackly, hand-shaped bagels often wrap around the block. Early crowds have proved daunting enough that Hyatt has already implemented a $25 grab-bag program for customers who want to skip the inevitable lines.

Bagelsaurus’ pizza bagels won’t be offered everyday, so pay attention to their Facebook and Twitter accounts for updates on the lunch special’s return.
