Santa Claus Rolls Burritos at Anna’s Taqueria in Brookline

Anna’s Taqueria in Brookline will be welcoming in Santa Claus as a celebrity roller for its first Globe Santa charity roller event on Saturday, December 13. Between noon and 3 p.m., Santa will be stepping behind the line at 446 Harvard Street to make burritos for charity. For $10, guests will receive a burrito and chips and salsa, all rolled by Santa Claus, with 100 percent of proceeds donated to Globe Santa, The Boston Globe Foundation’s annual holiday gifting charity for local families in need.

In 2013, Anna’s Taqueria raised almost $20,000 for local charities through its Celebrity Burrito Roller Series. Over the years, Anna’s Taqueria has supported countless organizations and has encouraged fundraising at the grassroots level by helping volunteers champion the causes they’re passionate about. The burrito rolling series is a continuation of that goal, putting local notables in the kitchen in support of the larger community.
