David Ortiz’s Final Season Gets the Dunkin’ Donuts Treatment
My friends at @DunkinDonuts made me my very own #34 donut and Koozie. Check em out at a Dunkin in New England pic.twitter.com/RRuJNrddk6

Big Papi’s trophy case was filling up fast before Lego commissioned a life-size statue of the slugger last week, so one of his most recognizable sponsors is here with a slightly more practical homage. Dunkin’ Donuts releases the #34 doughnut today, an apple raspberry jam-filled pastry with white chocolate frosting.
The regular season finishes up October 2, but the second place Red Sox are hoping Ortiz is around for one more Postseason run. As game day temperatures drop, keep your iced coffee cold and your hands warm with a commemorative koozie, too.
Ortiz’s pal and fellow face of Dunks Rob Gronkowski kicks off his 2016 season this Sunday, September 11, and he’d probably support a decision to tailgate with a dozen #34s. Ortiz’s signature doughnuts are 99 cents each and available at participating stores while supplies last.
