Roxbury Latin
Roxbury Latin, an independent school for boys in grades 7 through 12, adheres to the original mission set forth by its founder in 1645—to prepare students intellectually, morally, and spiritually for service in the world as leaders of integrity and conviction.
Every aspect of its program supports its core values of honesty, responsibility, humility, and respect and concern for others. The 117-acre campus in West Roxbury is home to academic buildings, an art center, science center, athletic fields, field house, and tennis courts. Enrolling around 300 students, the school ensures that each boy is known, loved, and trained in exacting analysis, disciplined reflection, aesthetic appreciation, and lucid expression, through the rigorous academic program.
Roxbury Latin strives to be affordable through relatively low tuition, and accessible through a need-blind admission process that keeps any mention of financial aid out of the acceptance process. Thus the school meets the financial need of all accepted students; currently 36 percent of the student body receives financial aid. Visit roxburylatin.org.
