Virtual Tour: Downtown Boston’s First Sub-Zero & Wolf Showroom is Now Open in the Seaport

With the city’s historically significant 7 Tide building announcing the grand opening of Clarke’s spectacular Sub-Zero & Wolf Showroom and Test Kitchen just off of the Seaport’s Drydock Avenue this fall, the Innovation District continues to live up to its name.

Among the first wave of high-end home owners, interior designers, and architects to schedule an interactive, hour-long tour of the luxury kitchen design destination, we got to see, touch, and test drive New England’s exclusive appliances from top-tier brands like Sub-Zero and Wolf in a grand setting that inspires a whole new way of thinking about kitchens.

Our epicurean adventure started with Clarke’s friendly showroom manager guiding us through a series of inspiring kitchen vignettes.

Expanding upon their Milford, MA and South Norwalk, CT showrooms, the stunning spaces peppered throughout 7 Tide give Clarke’s team a hands-on way to welcome guests and lead them through a foodie’s paradise while answering questions.

We admired multiple kitchens that feature top-of-the-line details like Best ventilation hoods, dishwashers from ASKO, wine storage from Sub-Zero, Wolf coffee systems, stainless steel sinks from Dawn, and artfully crafted, American-made faucets from Waterstone.

We marveled at showpieces peppered throughout our tour (like this gorgeous glass-topped island) and got stylish glimpses into endlessly lavish design possibilities.

At 7 Tide, we saw cool ways to preserve our culinary creations with Sub-Zero refrigerators, freezers and wine storage units that can be customized to fit virtually any space.

Customizing your food preservation is key! With Sub-Zero refrigerators and freezers, under counter ice makers, and free-standing, built-in, or under counter wine storage, there was no shortage of ways to keep our kitchen design vision fresh. We were told about appliances that feature gleaming stainless steel, finished with custom panels, or units that can be totally integrated and seamlessly blended with walls or cabinetry – it’s like they disappear.

Later, we talked about the wide range of options from Wolf—and discovered something’s always cooking at Clarke.

In fact, you can see the country’s very first Wolf Induction Range right at 7 Tide. It offers cooks the most energy-efficient, controllable way to cook with a Wolf Induction Cooktop coupled with a Wolf Convection Oven in one beautiful appliance. No other brand makes a 36″ Induction Range. Our Clarke Showroom Consultant showed us how easy, safe, and energy efficient Wolf induction cooktops, dual fuel ranges, convection ovens, microwaves, warming drawers, and state-of-the-art convection steam ovens can be for home chefs from novice to professional.

We worked up an appetite, and visited their official Wolf Test Kitchen to actually taste the difference!

We actually took a Wolf Test Drive to experience the performance of these appliances and then savored delicious small plates prepared right there. Wolf is recognized as the benchmark for cooking technology.

Throughout the tasting we couldn’t help but wonder what our future meals would taste like (and dreamed of all the incredible dinner parties we could host!) using remarkable appliances custom-selected just for our ideal kitchen.

Plus…if you come in with your architect or designer, you can review floorplans, elevations, renderings and more in Clarke’s high-tech media lounge.

Your architect or designer can reserve Clarke’s Media Lounge and you’ll see your project in full scale, projected on a 16-foot-wide by 9-foot-tall video wall. This allows you to meet with your architect, sip coffee and discuss your vision for your home. It’s so great to walk 20 feet from the screen and see the actual appliances you’re considering! There is really no other place like this in New England.

We never felt any pressure to make decisions during our tour. At the end of our visit, our Clarke Showroom Consultant provided us with all product information we discussed throughout our tour, giving us names of authorized dealers in our area. Plus, we were urged to reach out with more questions. They said they would be here for us even after our kitchen was installed.

This is an experience offered exclusively at 7 Tide in Boston Seaport. To experience Clarke’s extraordinary Sub-Zero & Wolf Showroom and Test Kitchen, simply make an appointment by visiting clarkeliving.com or call 800-842-5275.
