With Honors: Wellan Montessori School

At Wellan, students are inspired to reach their greatest potential. Located in Newton Centre, Wellan Montessori School is an independent, all-gender school for students ages 15 months–grade 8. Wellan’s Montessori-Progressive curriculum grants students the agency to forge their own personalized path, guided by thoughtful, highly trained educators. Engaging specials, like athletics, performing and visual arts, woodworking, and technology, are incorporated into the daily schedule. Wellan emphasizes innovation, social justice, and empathy throughout the student experience. Graduates emerge as capable leaders who demonstrate strong academic skills that enable them to succeed at top-tier independent and public high schools.
