Your Favorite Shopping Spot Just Got a Makeover
It’s official; Christmas came early to Cambridge.
Urban shopping center CambridgeSide just went through a $30 million glow-up, dropping the “Galleria” from their namesake. Experience the new environment with lightly colored tile, which features a textured pattern that evokes the ebb and flow of the nearby Charles River, new glass and stainless steel railings showcasing the stores’ latest trends, and a fresh coat of paint on every surface. Relax and kick back in the hospitality seating areas with sofa and chair vignettes, charging stations, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Originally opened in 1990, CambridgeSide’s head-to-toe makeover is designed to enhance the shopping experience and reflect the sleek modernity and technological prowess of the surrounding East Cambridge and Kendall Square neighborhoods.
Swing by to check out the fresh look and stop by the shops you love. The reimagined CambridgeSide is a place to shop, dine, indulge, and relax. The center boasts 100 shops and restaurants, including J.Crew, Apple, Club Monaco, A|X Armani Exchange, H&M, The Cheesecake Factory, World of Beer (the first in Massachusetts), and more. A brand-new Superdry just opened its vintage-style doors in CambridgeSide, expanding its global lifestyle brand with high-quality fabrics, hand-drawn graphics, and classic products.
This holiday season, take the kids on Black Friday at 10 a.m. to see Santa arrive by boat on the Charles River. Can’t make the morning merriment? No worries; Santa will be at CambridgeSide through Christmas Eve providing free photos to visitors all season. Take two complimentary 4 x 6″ print photos and a high resolution digital download of a single image to share with the whole family.
