If you’ve ever wanted to jump into the pages of Anne of Green Gables, this Prince Edward Island travel deal offers the closest thing to luxuriating in the idyllic (and fictional) town of Avonlea.

PEI’s storybook cycling and hiking package gives travelers the chance to explore the bucolic shores that inspired Lucy Maud Montgomery’s 1908 novel. Visitors can glimpse the sand dunes, red cliffs, forests, wetlands, and rolling hills of Cavendish and then head to Green Gables Heritage Place, the farm that inspired the setting for Montgomery’s book.

For a flat rate of $579, the double-occupancy package includes a three-night’s stay at the Fairways Cottages in Cavendish, a two-day bicycle rental, two passes to the Anne of Green Gables House Museum and walking trails at Green Gables Heritage Place, a National Park beach pass, and one prepared picnic lunch with a basket and blanket.
