Get a Little Wedding Hashtag Help
We’ve all seen it. That wedding hashtag #lastnameyear. Yawn.
Wouldn’t you rather have something your very own that speaks to the couple you are?
TheWeddingHashtag.com comes to the rescue. This online service attempts to rid the wedding world of boring labels by putting its team of pros to work brainstorming fun personalized hashtags.
The website was born when high school friends Matt Spitsen and Andrew McKeegan were ushers in a wedding. After the guests were seated and their usher chores completed, there was nothing else for these two creatives to do than talk about wedding hashtags and how creative they should be. One thing led to another, and the site was born.
Now they’re ready to rhyme, alliterate, and push the envelope for your Big Day. (They recently created #HornbergerHoedown for a couple getting married in a barn with a country band playing).
All you have to do is fill out the form with your info, the location of your wedding, fun facts about you and your to-be, nicknames, and anything else you want them to know about your lives together. In 48 hours, your hashtag arrives. And since this is free, we’re pretty sure it’s a #nobrainer.
